Waterfall Tool Blueprint

These images and videos are from an unreleased project that I had the pleasure of being Environment Art Lead for. They represent a UE5 blueprint toolkit I created to generate custom waterfall meshes using geometry scripting tools. This tool empowered the environment art team to quickly generate custom waterfall features for different levels by controlling not only the shape of the water fall, but also the details size, speed, foam amount and falloff.

When the artist was satisfied with the overall look they could then bake the blueprint asset down to a static mesh placement to avoid extra performance overhead. Behaviors for the material were controlled via vertex colors to avoid having to use dynamic material instances.
