These images are from an unreleased project that I had the pleasure of being Environment Art Lead for. They represent a targeted effort by the team to present a snapshot of the quality bar and artistic direction that we intended to deliver for the game as a whole. Specifically focused on how we would plan to light interior scenes with minimal to no direct sunlight. The art direction called for dramatic horizontal casts of light with the intent of breaking up the scene into graphic presentations of light and dark.
