These images and videos are from an unreleased project that I had the pleasure of being a Senior Technical Artist for. They represent a handful of assets I created for the playground set within one of our biomes.
Because we were such a small team we developed a pipeline and art style early on that would allow us to minimize the overhead from custom mesh content by doing away with textures almost entirely and instead using geometry, UVs and post process to imply material quality. Coupled with the 2.5D camera this really allowed artists to generate content extremely quickly while focusing entirely on the unique visual designs of our world.
