Unreleased Project - Proc Gen Placement Tool Presentation

This presentation is from an unreleased project that I had the pleasure of being Environment Art Lead for. It represents an effort from myself to research and develop a new tool to enable a relatively small team of environment artists to be able to work on larger open world designs while maintaining a degree of control, quality and speed.

After researching what the Unreal Engine had on offer and looking at examples from other studios I set about creating a procedural actor placement system using Unreal's visual scripting tool blueprints. I created this document as part of a presentation to the studio on the what, why and how of this endeavor.

This tool is in a state of ongoing development as the needs of the project crystalize and we test it against new use cases, but my hope is that this will provide a snapshot of my technical capabilities and problem solving process.
