These images are from an unreleased project that I had the pleasure of being Environment Art Lead for. They represent a level design tool that I created to allow for "bending" of static meshes to a curved loop. This was instrumental in speeding up workflow for some of our palettes and levels that heavily relied on circular design patterns and layouts. Normally this type of work would easily balloon into time consuming custom geometry work that was difficult to generate once, let alone iterate with. This way artist and designers could work quickly during production phases and once content was locked down start merging actor placements together to reduce draw calls.
